One&Only The Palm is seeking a Head Waiter/Head Waitress for its Food & Beverage team at the Dubai resort.
The role supports restaurant management and leads service staff to maintain resort standards and deliver attentive guest service.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager and Restaurant General Manager in maintaining resort standards.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate staff in service delivery, following standard operating procedures.
- Present a professional, energetic image and provide genuine hospitality to enhance the guest experience.
- Prepare and maintain mise-en-place, service areas, and equipment to resort standards.
- Maintain product knowledge, communicate with colleagues, delegate tasks, and stay informed about daily resort activities.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, professionalism, and environmental standards; participate in training and team events.
Candidate requirements
- At least 1–2 years of experience in an upscale five-star hotel or resort environment.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge; Italian cuisine expertise is desirable.
- Excellent English communication is required; an additional language is highly regarded.
- Strong personal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with high-profile and diverse clientele.
- Dynamic team player able to provide a high standard of guest service.
