Role Overview

• He/She will lead and oversee the entire end-to-end international supply chain operations across China, India, Dubai, and African import markets.
• This role will act as the central control tower for sourcing, quality control, logistics coordination, order processing, shipment clearance monitoring, and strategic reorder planning.
• The Dubai supply team will report directly to this position.

1. **Strategic Supply Chain Leadership**

• Oversee complete end-to-end supply chain operations from supplier to final import destination.
• Act as functional head of logistics and import coordination.
• Develop supply chain strategy to ensure timely product availability across markets.
• 1. **Supplier & Sourcing Coordination (China & India)**
• Coordinate orders, production planning, and quality control procedures with supply offices.
• Oversee QC teams to ensure compliance with specifications and checklists.
• Ensure adherence to agreed standards, specifications, packaging, labeling, port instructions and documentation.

1. **Dubai Operations Control**

• Supervise Dubai-based supply team.
• Ensure all orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Validate shipping instructions, specifications, and documentation prior to dispatch.
• Monitor container planning and shipment scheduling.

1. **Import & Clearing Coordination (Africa Markets)**

• Coordinate with on-ground import teams for:
• Clearing status
• Shipment tracking
• Claims handling
• Feedback reporting
• Resolve shipment discrepancies and manage supplier claims.

1. **Reorder Planning & Supply Strategy**

• Work with import teams to forecast demand.
• Plan reorder cycles considering clearing timelines and port delays.
• Optimize lead times and working capital efficiency.

1. **Quality Control Oversight**

• Supervise QC processes in China, India, and import destinations.
• Establish SOPs for inspection and compliance.
• Ensure product consistency across markets.
• 1. **Team Leadership**
• Lead Dubai supply chain team.
• Establish KPIs and accountability structure.
• Improve operational efficiency and reporting transparency.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of international supply chain leadership experience
• Experience managing cross-border sourcing (China mandatory; India preferred)
• Strong knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, documentation, and clearing processes
• Experience managing QC teams
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

• Mandarin (Native), English (Fluent)

• Experience handling Africa-bound shipments is a major advantage
• Strong ERP and order management system exposure
