for our client based in Riyadh, Saudi

Role Overview

The Head of Retail Media for Lulu KSA will lead the strategy, growth, and execution of Lulu’s retail media network across the entire Kingdom.

Based in Riyadh, this role oversees all retail media activities across online, offline, and data‑driven channels, ensuring advertisers and suppliers maximize value from Lulu’s scale, shopper reach, and first‑party data.

The position requires a senior commercial leader with deep expertise in digital media, FMCG partnerships, and omnichannel retail.

• Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and own the national retail media strategy for Lulu KSA, covering onsite, offsite, in‑store, and data‑led media solutions.
  • Build a multi‑year roadmap for media products, measurement capabilities, and advertiser value propositions.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team across sales, ad operations, analytics, and product.
  • Align with KSA and regional leadership on revenue targets, investment priorities, and competitive positioning.

• Commercial & Revenue Growth

  • Drive retail media revenue across all KSA regions by engaging brands, suppliers, and media agencies.
  • Build strong relationships with top FMCG companies, global brands, and key agency groups operating in Saudi Arabia.
  • Develop pricing models, media packages, and commercial frameworks tailored to the Saudi market.
  • Lead quarterly and annual revenue planning, forecasting, and performance reviews.

• Media Product Development

  • Partner with e‑commerce, IT, and data teams to enhance onsite ad placements, targeting, and measurement tools.
  • Expand offsite capabilities (programmatic, social, search) using Lulu’s first‑party data.
  • Innovate in in‑store media across all Lulu formats in KSA: digital screens, sampling, activations, and shopper marketing.
  • Ensure all media products meet global standards for brand safety, transparency, and performance.

• Operations & Execution

  • Oversee campaign planning, trafficking, optimization, and reporting across all KSA markets.
  • Ensure operational excellence, timely delivery, and high-quality execution.
  • Implement scalable processes, SLAs, and governance frameworks across all regions.
  • Integrate retail media into supplier JBP discussions with category and commercial teams.

• Data, Insights & Measurement

  • Build a robust measurement framework including attribution, incrementality, and closed-loop reporting.
  • Leverage Lulu’s first‑party data to deliver actionable insights to advertisers.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi data privacy regulations and internal governance.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with e‑commerce, marketing, IT, finance, and store operations teams across KSA.
  • Align retail media initiatives with national business goals and omnichannel strategies.
  • Represent Lulu KSA in regional retail media forums and global best‑practice exchanges.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in digital media, retail media, e‑commerce, or FMCG commercial roles.
  • Proven track record in building or scaling a retail media network or digital advertising business.
  • Strong understanding of ad tech, programmatic, measurement, and first‑party data usage.
  • Experience working with FMCG suppliers and media agencies in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
  • Leadership experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Preferred

  • Experience in a major retailer, marketplace, or media platform (e.g., Amazon, Carrefour, Noon, Majid Al Futtaim, or global FMCG).
  • Deep knowledge of the Saudi retail landscape and shopper behavior.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
