Urgent requirement for DevOps Engineer (AWA Platform) strong experience in Azure, Kubernetes, networking, and automation, is required for our banking clients in Abu Dhabi ,UAE

Candidate should responsible for the end-to-end reliability, deployment, and infrastructure management of the AWA platform within Azure environment--

Candidate should hands on IaC & CI/CD ownership and manage AKS & Azure --

Components are fully automated and reproducible through infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Bicep) and robust CI/CD pipelines, while managing AKS operations, container governance, security, and monitoring--

Candidate should have strong expertise in Azure, Kubernetes, networking(Key Vault, Firewall, image signing), and automation, with a focus on operational excellence--

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to own end-to-end reliability, deployment, and infrastructure for the AWA platform within Azure environment.

You will drive automation, IaC, CI/CD, and security for a mission-critical banking platform running on AKS.

This role demands deep Azure + Kubernetes expertise and a strong focus on operational excellence, governance, and disaster recovery.

IaC & CI/CD OwnershipDesign, build, and maintain fully automated, reproducible infrastructure using Terraform/Bicep.

Own Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines for build, test, security scan, and deployment.

Implement GitOps workflows and ensure zero-touch deployments to all environments.

Manage, scale, and upgrade AKS clusters, node pools, and Azure CNI.

Administer Azure services including Key Vault, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Front Door, Log Analytics, Monitor, and Storage Accounts.

Enforce container governance: image scanning, signing, SBOM, and Azure Container Registry policies.

Implement SRE practices: SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and automated rollback.

Enforce security controls: RBAC, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, network segmentation, and private endpoints.

Manage secrets rotation, cert management, and compliance with UAE banking regulations.

Configure VNet, NSG, Azure Firewall, and ingress controllers for secure multi-tier traffic.

Design active-passive/active-active DR strategy with Azure Site Recovery and geo-redundant storage.

Conduct DR drills and maintain RTO/RPO within defined limits.

Set up end-to-end observability using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and Application Insights.

Define alerts, dashboards, and runbooks.

Lead incident response, RCA, and post-mortems for platform issues.

Work with Architecture, Security, and App teams to define landing zones and platform standards.

Enforce cost optimization, tagging policies, and resource governance.

Document HLD/LLD, runbooks, and DR procedures.

6+ years in DevOps/SRE roles with 3+ years hands-on Azure and Kubernetes.

in banking/regulated environments preferred.

Expert in Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, AKS, Helm, Docker, and scripting with PowerShell/Bash/Python.Strong on Azure networking, IAM, Key Vault, Azure Firewall, and security hardening.
