Lead JASARA PMC's internal audit function and strengthen organizational internal controls.
Drive audit strategy, assess risks, and foster compliance and accountability.
Work closely with senior management and the Audit Committee to improve transparency and operational integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement internal audit strategy aligned with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audit engagements.
- Evaluate internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
- Lead audit teams and ensure financial reporting audits are accurate and reliable.
- Present audit findings and recommendations to executive management and the Audit Committee.
- Coordinate resolution of audit findings and follow up on corrective actions.
- Conduct risk assessments and stay current with industry trends, regulations, and auditing practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- CPA, CIA, or CISA professional certification is essential.
- At least 15 years of internal audit experience, including at least 5 years in leadership.
- Extensive knowledge of audit methodologies, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with audit management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop audit teams, work independently, and manage multiple tight-deadline assignments.
