What you'll do

• Own global infrastructure, platform engineering, automation, and SRE strategy.
• Design and evolve secure, scalable hybrid architecture across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Lead regional infrastructure expansion with repeatable deployment models.
• Drive automation through IaC, GitOps, CI/CD, and self-service platforms.
• Own reliability, performance, capacity, security, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Build and lead infrastructure, platform, and SRE teams.
• Review designs, challenge decisions, and guide incidents while staying close to implementation.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Product, and Finance leaders on infrastructure investment.

What you'll need

• Significant experience leading infrastructure, platform, cloud, production, or SRE teams and owning business-critical infrastructure at scale.
• Expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP; solid CI/CD and GitOps experience.
• Demonstrated SRE practice covering SLOs, error budgets, incident management, postmortems, and capacity planning.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, tracing, and observability platforms.
• Familiarity with high-availability and disaster-recovery design.
• Track record leading infrastructure expansion across multiple regions.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, and infrastructure costs.
• Comfort operating at executive and detailed engineering levels.

Preferred experience

• Knowledge of hybrid cloud and on-premises environments is a plus.
• Compliance familiarity, including ISO 27001 or SOC 2, is a plus.
• Experience with large-scale cloud providers is a plus.

Compensation

• Krakow and Poland listings state PLN 44,000 gross monthly.
• Compensation for other locations will be discussed during interviews and determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
