- 🚀 Head of Engineering – Mobility / Consumer Tech
- 📍 Dubai, UAE
- Salt is supporting a fast-growing mobility venture in Dubai with the search for a Head of Engineering to lead technology strategy, platform scalability and engineering delivery across a high-growth digital product ecosystem.
- This is a senior leadership role for someone who has built and scaled high-performing engineering teams across backend, frontend, mobile, QA, DevOps and data, with strong experience in customer-facing B2C platforms.
- The role will own engineering strategy, architecture, cloud infrastructure, platform reliability, product delivery and innovation across areas such as mobility tech, payments, mapping, personalisation, AI and operational systems.
- We are looking for someone with:
- 10+ years’ engineering experience
- Proven experience leading large-scale engineering teams
- Strong background in B2C, mobility, ride-hailing, logistics, marketplace, fintech or consumer-tech platforms
- Deep knowledge of microservices, cloud-native platforms, distributed systems and mobile-first products
- Experience across AWS / Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, scalable databases and modern engineering practices
- A strong product mindset and ability to partner closely with Product, Growth, Operations and senior leadership
