Role overview
Oversee daily operations, beverage quality and consistency, and the training and supervision of baristas.
Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffee and maintain consistent quality.
- Calibrate espresso, dial in coffee, and adjust grinders.
- Maintain milk steaming and latte art standards; prepare basic filter coffee, including V60.
- Train and supervise baristas; standardize recipes and maintain coffee quality standards.
- Manage opening setup and daily shifts, ensuring consistency across shifts.
- Operate cashier and POS systems when required.
Requirements and qualifications
- At least 5 years of specialty coffee experience is required.
- Strong skills in espresso calibration, grinder adjustment, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Knowledge of specialty coffee workflows, quality control, and V60 preparation.
- Experience training and supervising baristas is required.
- Cashier and POS experience is required.
- Ability to standardize recipes and maintain quality standards; strong leadership and communication skills.
Additional qualifications
- Relevant barista training or coffee certifications are an advantage.
Location and work setting
- The role is in Doha, Qatar.
- Work is in person.
