Develop business opportunities in Qatar for electrical testing and commissioning services.
Key responsibilities
- Generate business opportunities and promote testing services for transformers, HV/MV cables, switchgear, electrical panels, and protection and control systems.
- Conduct client visits, sales presentations, and technical discussions to understand customer needs.
- Build relationships with utilities, EPC contractors, industrial clients, and facilities management companies.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents with the engineering team.
- Coordinate on project scope, testing requirements, methodologies, and execution plans with technical teams.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales opportunities.
- Track market trends, competitors, and upcoming projects; maintain the sales pipeline, reports, and targets.
- Attend client meetings and industry networking events to expand the customer base.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of sales or business development experience in Qatar.
- Experience selling Electrical Testing and Commissioning services is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical testing services for transformers, HV/MV cables, switchgear, electrical panels, and protection and control systems.
- Existing client relationships in Qatar’s utilities, EPC, industrial, or facilities management sectors are advantageous.
- Ability to generate leads, develop relationships, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Driving license required; the posting also lists at least 3 years of Sales Engineer experience.
