Bakery Section Manager – Giovanni L Café
Giovanni L Café is looking for an experienced and passionate Bakery Section Manager to lead and oversee our bakery and dessert operations across all branches.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, creativity, and presentation in all bakery-related products including cakes, waffles, crepes, pastries, and specialty desserts.
This role is essential in ensuring that every product reflects the premium image and luxury experience of the Giovanni L brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bakery and dessert operations across all branches
- Ensure the highest level of quality control and product consistency
- Develop and introduce new dessert concepts, seasonal items, and premium recipes
- Monitor preparation standards, hygiene, and presentation
- Train and supervise bakery staff and kitchen teams
- Manage product testing and standardization procedures
- Work closely with management to improve menu offerings and customer experience
- Ensure all products meet Giovanni L’s luxury brand standards
- Monitor ingredient quality and coordinate with suppliers when required
- Support operational efficiency and maintain food safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in bakery, pastry, dessert, or café management
- Strong knowledge of cakes, waffles, crepes, pastries, and dessert preparation
- Creativity and passion for premium food concepts
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience in multi-branch operations is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
