Full-time, non-remote position at the Dubai property.
Guest service and front-desk duties
- Verify guest identity and payment, assign rooms, issue or activate keys, and set up accurate guest accounts.
- Enter rewards information, verify rates against market codes, document exceptions, and review or adjust billing.
- Provide directions and property information, accommodate guest requests, contact appropriate staff, and follow up.
- Process payments, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges; balance receipts and secure the bank at shift start and end.
- Compile daily reports, logs, and contingency lists and complete cashier and closing reports.
- Obtain manual authorizations, follow accounting procedures, and notify security when guests report theft.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and maintain quality standards.
Team and workplace duties
- Assist with employee training, evaluation, counseling, motivation, and coaching; serve as a role model and first contact for fair-treatment concerns.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Follow company and safety procedures, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training.
- Use computers and POS systems, communicate professionally, and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
Work expectations
Maintain a clean and professional appearance, keep proprietary information confidential, and protect company assets.
The role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
