Role Purpose
The Group Real Estate Manager is responsible for leading the Real Estate department and identifying commercial areas with full amenities & utilities in all countries, for all brands.
This includes developing new business for Azadea’s target market, and gathering information related to new markets & potential locations
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the strategic direction of the brands’ expansion into the new markets by leading the market scouting process, searching for prospective locations, and handling potential company expansion Identify all current and future Real Estate requirements, to ensure that the company and the country's expansion plans are achieved
- Establish, enhance, and maintain strong relationships with leasing directors as well as with key account directors.
- Negotiate commercial terms for new opportunities, renewals, and rent reduction with strategic landlords while maintain alignment with the Real Estate strategy.
- Coordinate with Country Managers, Heads of Divisions, and Brand Managers on all existing and upcoming projects within the strategic landlord’s portfolio.
- Ensure all internal documentations (feasibilities, SVRs, internal notes, lease reviews, financial reports etc..) are well prepared and presented on time for board approval.
- Provide the Engineering and Operation Departments with accurate information, along with successful project delivery.
- Liaise with the Legal department to ensure all agreements are completed according to Azadea standards
- Attend exhibitions related to the industry, gather related information, and constantly update market intelligence
- Train, motivate and evaluate his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated & enabled, to maximize their potential and their contribution to the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or any related field
- 7 years of managerial experience in a related field Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques and tools
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Fluency in English, Arabic is a major plus
