Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced and reliable professionals for the role of Melter & Chemical Operator in a gold refinery. The ideal candidates will also handle procurement responsibilities and must hold a valid forklift license. Candidates should have hands-on experience in gold refining processes and chemical handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate gold melting furnaces and related equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform chemical processes involved in gold refining (acid treatment, filtration, purification, etc.)
• Monitor and control temperature, materials, and refining cycles
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Handle procurement of raw materials, chemicals, and operational supplies
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchases, and usage
• Operate a forklift for material handling and storage
• Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth refinery operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in gold refining, melting, or chemical operations
• Knowledge of refining processes and chemical handling procedures
• Valid forklift operator license
• Experience in procurement or inventory management is an advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Basic communication and record-keeping skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification or training in metallurgy, chemistry, or related field
• Familiarity with refinery equipment and safety standards
