Overview
Storekeeper –
A storekeeper ensures that all items are properly received, stored, and issued while maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify against purchase orders
- Properly store items to ensure safety and easy access
- Maintain stock records (manual or system-based)
- Issue materials as per authorized requests
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess
- Conduct regular inventory checks and stock audits
- Keep the store clean, organized, and safe
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of inventory management
- Good organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills (Excel / ERP systems)
- Communication skills
Qualifications
- High school or diploma (minimum)
- Experience in warehouse/storekeeping preferred
- Forklift license (optional but preferred in UAE)
Work Environment
- Warehouses, factories, retail stores, or construction sites
- Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
