Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Chemical Operator with a strong background in gold refinery operations.
The candidate will be responsible for handling chemical processes, ensuring safe refining operations, and maintaining production quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate gold refining processes (aqua regia, electrolysis, filtration, smelting support)
- Handle acids and chemicals safely
- Monitor chemical reactions and process parameters
- Perform sampling, filtration, and material handling
- Maintain accurate production and chemical records
- Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Assist in troubleshooting and process improvements
Requirements
- Minimum **2 years gold refinery experience (mandatory)**
- Knowledge of chemical handling and refining techniques
- Familiar with aqua regia / electro-winning / cyanidation
- Ability to follow SOPs and safety standards
- Physically fit for industrial work
Preferred
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry
- Experience handling hazardous chemicals
