Finance officer - GL & Accounts Payable Accountant

Key Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger (GL) accounting activities, including journal entries and account
- reconciliations.
- - Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, and month-end adjustments.
- - Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- - Conduct Actual vs. Estimate/Budget variance analysis.
- - Perform balance sheet and GL reconciliations.
- - Handle end-to-end Accounts Payable, invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor
- reconciliations.
- - Resolve vendor queries.
- - Prepare financial reports and support audits.
- - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Professional accounting and /or finance qualification would be an added advantage (e.g. CPA,ACCA,CMA,CFA)
- At least 3 to 5 years’ experience of working in an relevant finance role.
- SAP experience would be an advantage
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written)
