General Practitioner (GP)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, medical assessments, and treatment planning.
• Diagnose and manage general medical conditions within the scope of general practice.
• Perform aesthetic consultations and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer aesthetic treatments and minimally invasive procedures within the physician's scope of practice and qualifications.
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care for plastic surgery patients.
• Evaluate and manage common dermatological conditions and provide aesthetic skin treatments.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential patient medical records.
• Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, and aftercare.
• Collaborate with plastic surgeons, dermatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all clinical protocols, infection control standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Participate in continuous professional development and stay current with advances in aesthetic medicine and dermatology.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
• Valid medical license/registration to practice.
• Certification or training in aesthetic medicine is preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are an advantage.

Experience Required

• Minimum of **2*** –5 years* of clinical experience as a General Practitioner.
• Experience working in a medical clinic.
• Experience in plastic surgery and dermatology within an aesthetic clinic.
• Experience performing aesthetic procedures such as:
• Botox injections
• Dermal fillers
• PRP treatments
• Mesotherapy
• Chemical peels
• Skin rejuvenation treatments
• Laser procedures (preferred)
• Familiarity with aesthetic treatment protocols and patient safety standards.

• DHA, DOH, or MOH eligibility/license (if hiring in the UAE).
