Clinical care
- Conduct consultations, physical examinations, and clinical assessments; diagnose conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications, investigations, and treatments within professional licensing scope and clinical guidelines.
- Request and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations; provide follow-up care.
- Manage common acute and chronic conditions, monitor progress, and refer patients for specialist care when appropriate.
- Provide preventive healthcare, health education, lifestyle advice, and screening recommendations.
- Recognize serious or emergency conditions and provide appropriate initial management and referral.
Patient records and coordination
- Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential patient records and clinical documentation.
- Review investigation results and treatment response to ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Coordinate with specialists, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, clinical ethics, confidentiality, and informed consent.
- Participate in clinic quality improvement activities, audits, meetings, and continuing professional development.
- Comply with applicable UAE healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, clinic policies, and professional standards.
Qualifications and requirements
- Valid UAE DHA, DOH, or MOHAP medical license or eligibility, as applicable to the clinic location.
- MBBS, MD, or equivalent recognized medical qualification.
- Relevant General Practitioner experience; polyclinic or outpatient experience is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and patient-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Pay
- Pay is AED 15,000–18,000 per month.
