Role Description
This full-time, on-site General Practitioner (Aesthetic) role is based at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Hospital in Dubai.
The General Practitioner will provide primary aesthetic consultations, perform non-surgical cosmetic procedures, and manage pre- and post-treatment care for clients seeking aesthetic services.
Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, coordinating care with specialists, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
The role involves educating patients on treatment options and outcomes, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with nursing and allied health teams to deliver a high-quality, client-centered experience.
The General Practitioner will also contribute to continuous professional development activities and support training initiatives within the hospital’s education framework.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine and Family Medicine, with experience in primary care and patient assessment.
- Demonstrated skills in Primary Care and Nursing collaboration, including coordination of patient care and follow-up.
- Experience in Training, mentoring, or participation in educational workshops or clinical teaching is an advantage.
- Valid medical degree and recognized license to practice as a General Practitioner; eligibility for licensure in Dubai Healthcare City.
- Previous exposure to aesthetic or cosmetic medicine, including non-surgical procedures, is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care, privacy, and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and adhere to international quality and safety standards.
- Must have active BLS, ACLS and DHA Eligibility Letter.
- Preferably with Aesthetic / Cosmetic Speciality Hospital Experience
