General Manager – Hotels

Role overview

Operations and financial performance

• Lead assigned hotel properties and oversee day-to-day Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B, Security, Sales, Finance, and HR operations.
• Implement operational strategies, maintain brand standards and SOP compliance, and promote service excellence.
• Drive revenue, GOP, and EBITDA performance; prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports.
• Analyze P&L statements and manage cost controls, payroll, procurement, and departmental expenses.

Revenue, guest experience, and teams

• Partner with Sales, Revenue, and Marketing teams to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, banquet sales, and ancillary revenue.
• Identify business opportunities, partnerships, market positioning, and promotional initiatives.
• Monitor guest feedback and reputation scores, lead service recovery and quality audits, and meet corporate and municipality standards.
• Foster accountability and engagement; oversee succession planning, talent retention, leadership development, manpower planning, and productivity.

Owners and stakeholders

• Serve as the primary liaison between ownership and hotel management teams.
• Present business performance reports and strategic recommendations to ownership.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, government authorities, and corporate partners.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of hotel leadership experience, including 3–5 years in multi-property or cluster hotel management.
• Strong knowledge of hotel financials, budgeting, forecasting, and GOP management.
• Experience managing Rooms Division, F&B Operations, Engineering, and Commercial functions.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Arabic.
