General Manager – Fire Fighting & Fire Protection Company

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operations across projects, maintenance, sales, estimation, and business development.
• Develop sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability; generate business and secure major projects and maintenance contracts.
• Build relationships with developers, consultants, main contractors, and government entities; lead sales and business development teams to achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Oversee project execution, operational performance, budgets, and profitability; monitor financial performance, cost control, and payment collections.
• Ensure compliance with the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence requirements.
• Manage department heads, improve productivity and efficiency, identify market opportunities, participate in major tenders, and negotiate high-value contracts.

Requirements

• Mandatory experience in a fire fighting, fire alarm, or fire protection company in the UAE.
• Eight to ten years of relevant industry experience, including senior management experience.
• Strong sales and business development background, with a proven record securing fire protection projects and achieving sales targets.
• Excellent knowledge of the UAE fire protection market, Civil Defence regulations, and industry standards.
• Established professional network within the UAE construction and fire safety industry.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills; ability to manage multiple departments and drive growth.
• A UAE driving licence is preferred.

Compensation

• Monthly pay is listed as AED 5,000 to AED 17,000.
