Overview
One of the local Diversified Group is expanding its Engineering Consultancy business and is seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead its next phase of strategic growth.
We are looking for a commercially astute executive with a distinguished track record in the UAE engineering consultancy sector someone who combines technical excellence with exceptional business development capabilities and has successfully built client relationships, secured major consultancy commissions, and led multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding results.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a growing consultancy, drive sustainable business expansion, and contribute to the delivery of landmark developments across the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the Engineering Consultancy Division.
- Drive business growth by securing new consultancy projects and expanding the client portfolio.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, government entities, investors, and key industry stakeholders.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across Architecture, Structural, MEP, BIM, and Project Management.
- Oversee project delivery, operational excellence, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable UAE regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Champion innovation, quality, and continuous improvement across the business.
Candidate Profile
- The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (preferred) or a relevant Engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 15 years' experience within the UAE Engineering Consultancy sector, including at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
- **A proven history of winning consultancy projects and delivering sustainable revenue growth.**
- An established network of developers, consultants, contractors, government authorities, and decision-makers across the UAE.
- Demonstrated experience managing P&L, business operations, and multidisciplinary professional teams.
- Outstanding leadership, commercial negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
