Overview

We are looking for a

General Manager

for one of our companies in Doha.

Requirements

  • :
  • Local hiring is preferred.
  • The General Manager must hold a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business from a reputable institution). We prefer a postgraduate qualification aligned with managing a business with approximately USD 30M per annum.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in Firefighting, Safety, Security industries, or related sectors.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Business Management at a senior managerial level, with proven experience leading multiple departments or companies and overseeing other managers.
  • You'll need strong marketing and financial acumen to drive strategic planning, business development, and long-term growth.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to manage, guide, and develop multiple departments and business unit heads reporting directly to the role.
  • Must be bilingual, with the ability to communicate fluently and confidently, and to represent the company effectively across both public and private sector engagements.
  • Experience working with large international suppliers, including contract management and negotiation, is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to clients across multiple sectors, including Oil & Gas, Government, Education, Commercial, Industrial, Military, Aviation, Leisure, Facilities Management, Marine, and Offshore—will be beneficial.
  • Experience managing multiple locations, branches, or regional offices will be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of the full business lifecycle, including sales, after-sales services, and maintenance of products and solutions within the industry.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, and logistics within the business value chain will be an advantage.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment, managing diverse teams and clients from various international backgrounds, is highly desirable.
  • A minimum five-year commitment to support the development and transition of the business from a single-country operation into a regional player.
  • The General Manager will report directly to the Group Board and provide regular updates on company performance and strategic progress.
