Offshore Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily offshore marine operations and vessel activities.
• Coordinate offshore support services, vessel schedules, crew movements, and logistics operations.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, marine regulations, and offshore operational standards.
• Supervise offshore personnel, marine crews, and subcontractors to ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitor vessel performance, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and operational readiness.
• Coordinate with clients regarding operational requirements, project execution, and service delivery.
• Develop operational plans, risk assessments, and contingency procedures for offshore activities.
• Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct operational inspections, audits, and incident investigations when required.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for marine equipment and vessels.
• Prepare operational reports, budgets, KPIs, and performance evaluations for management review.
• Liaise with port authorities, regulatory bodies, suppliers, and offshore stakeholders.
• Optimise resource utilisation and control operational costs while maintaining service quality.
• Support business development activities by assisting with operational planning and project proposals.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering, Nautical Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in offshore marine operations, including managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of offshore support vessels, marine logistics, and offshore operations.
• Familiarity with IMO regulations, ISM Code, and offshore HSE standards.
• Experience in marine services, offshore oil & gas support, or port operations is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant offshore and marine certifications are an advantage.
