General Cashier

We are looking for a detail-oriented General Cashier to support the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla.

Hyatt Place AlUla represents a significant milestone in Hyatt’s expansion across the region and will feature 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, swimming pool and a fitness center appealing to both leisure and business travelers.

As the General Cashier, you’ll be responsible for managing the hotel’s daily cash transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling procedures, maintaining financial records, and supporting the Finance department in accordance with hotel policies and financial controls.

· Receive, verify, and reconcile daily cash collections from all hotel revenue outlets

· Prepare daily bank deposits and ensure funds are secured and deposited in accordance with company procedures

· Maintain accurate records of cash transactions and supporting documentation

· Perform daily cash counts and reconcile cash balances to ensure accuracy

· Assist in monitoring cash handling procedures and compliance with internal controls

· Prepare cash reports and submit financial documentation as required

· Coordinate with Finance and operational departments regarding cash-related matters

· Investigate and report cash discrepancies in a timely manner

· Maintain confidentiality of financial information and records

· Support pre-opening finance preparations and cash management readiness

· Previous experience in cashiering, finance, accounting, or a related role, preferably within hotels

· Good knowledge of cash handling procedures and financial controls

· Strong numerical and analytical skills

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail

· Ability to maintain confidential financial information

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Excellent English communication skills
