General Accountant
About This Role
Maintains the general ledger, reconciles bank accounts, and prepares financial reports (balance sheets, P&L statements) to ensure accuracy and compliance. They handle month-end closing, AP/AR, payroll expenses, and tax filings, supporting financial decision-making and regulatory compliance.
- General Ledger & Reporting: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, post journal entries, and prepare monthly/yearly financial statements.
- Reconciliation & Compliance: Perform bank reconciliations, manage accounts payable/receivable, and ensure compliance with local tax regulations (VAT, etc.).
- Month-End Close: Manage the month-end and year-end close process, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
- Experience: Preferred Fresh candidate
Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
Work Location: In person
