Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in a contracting or construction company and possess strong knowledge of accounting procedures, financial reporting, and ERP systems. Experience with SAP is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Monitor project-related costs and expenses.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Coordinate with procurement, project, and HR departments for financial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
- Generate financial reports and support management with financial analysis.
- Work on ERP/accounting software, preferably SAP.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a contracting/construction company.
- Knowledge of VAT and UAE accounting practices.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in project accounting and cost control.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
