General Accountant
About This Role
Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate should have experience in accounting, invoicing, ERP systems, reporting, and daily financial operations. Candidate must be organized, responsible, and capable of handling accounts independently in a fast-paced business environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting entries and bookkeeping
- Manage sales, purchase, payment, receipt, and journal entries
- Prepare invoices, delivery notes, and customer statements
- Maintain accounts in Tally ERP and ERP systems
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier ledgers, and customer balances
- Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding payments
- Prepare VAT-related reports and supporting documents
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounts records
- Coordinate with operations, sales, and management teams
- Prepare financial and management reports
- Assist in audit preparation and month-end closing
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience preferred
- Knowledge of Tally ERP, Excel, and accounting software
- Experience with invoicing and ERP systems
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- English communication required
Preferred:
- Experience in trading, FMCG, food supply, or distribution companies
- Knowledge of VAT procedures in UAE
- Immediate joiners preferred
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
