General Accountant
About This Role
Looking for Experienced General Accountant for a Luxury Boutique Garage in Dubai.!
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and prepare tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, etc.)
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Monitor cash flow and support treasury functions
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely documentation
- Maintain internal controls and improve accounting processes where needed
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare payroll entries and support payroll processing (if applicable)
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and financial regulations
