Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Keet Desktop.
- Implement UI/UX features and optimize application performance.
Required qualifications
- Production-scale experience with React or Preact and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Strong state-management skills using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar.
- Ability to write modular, maintainable, well-tested code and test and debug complex frontend applications.
- Deep interest in or experience with peer-to-peer technologies or distributed systems.
- Comfort working remotely with a globally distributed team and good communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Desktop application development experience with Electron, Tauri, or similar runtimes.
- Familiarity with video/audio APIs, WebRTC, media streams, and real-time communication.
- Experience optimizing UI rendering and memory management and building cross-platform applications for macOS, Windows, Linux, or similar.
- Open-source contributions, especially in peer-to-peer or decentralized technology, are a bonus.
