Tether is hiring an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills and ownership of manual testing for desktop and mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
- Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
- Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams on testability and acceptance criteria.
- Perform functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
- Select manual or automated coverage based on risk and maintain regression suites.
Mandatory qualifications
- At least 4 years in QA automation and hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on Playwright experience for desktop or web and WebdriverIO plus Appium for mobile.
- Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real iOS and Android devices.
- Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.
Preferred experience
- Testing AI-powered applications is a plus.
