Role Overview
The Authors is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to lead the guest-facing experience across our portfolio of premium holiday homes.
This role is responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations, ensuring seamless guest communication, and maintaining the highest standards of service aligned with The Authors brand.
This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both people and processes in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage daily front desk and guest relations operations
Ensure all guest communications (check-in, during stay, and check-out) are handled professionally and promptly
Monitor and improve response times, guest satisfaction, and overall service quality
Train, guide, and support guest relations team members
Handle escalations, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency
Coordinate closely with operations, housekeeping, and maintenance teams
Ensure all systems (Guesty, WhatsApp, booking platforms) are updated and used correctly
Maintain clear reporting on daily operations and guest feedback
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, preferably in hotels or holiday homes
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is required
Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a strong advantage
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Familiarity with property management systems (Guesty or similar) is preferred
Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate
UAE driving license is a plus
