We are looking for an experienced **Freight Forwarding Operations Executive** to join our logistics team.
The candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day freight forwarding operations, coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, and ensuring smooth communication with customers, shipping lines, agents, and transporters.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle import, export, and cross-trade shipments by air, sea, and land.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, customs brokers, and transporters.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents such as BL, AWB, invoices, packing lists, and delivery orders.
- Follow up with customers and provide shipment status updates.
- Arrange customs clearance and transportation.
- Ensure timely delivery and proper documentation filing.
- Handle pricing, quotations, and basic customer service support.
- Solve operational issues and coordinate with internal departments.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of freight forwarding/logistics experience in Qatar or GCC.
- Good knowledge of sea, air, and land freight operations.
- Familiar with customs clearance procedures and shipping documentation.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Computer knowledge: MS Office, email, and logistics systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Qatar driving license is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Qatar customs and port procedures.
- Existing contacts with shipping lines, agents, and transporters.
- English/Arabic/Hindi/speaking is an advantage.
