Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop category business plans, define targets, and monitor commercial performance.
• Manage departmental budgets, operations, resource allocation, and team performance.
• Set assortment, purchasing, pricing, merchandising, and promotional strategies across categories and stores.
• Track category performance, competitors, and market trends; identify growth opportunities and prepare reviews.
• Build brand relationships and negotiate commercial agreements, margins, pricing, advertising, and stock returns.
• Coordinate promotions, launches, seasonal activities, and marketing calendars with suppliers and internal teams.
• Optimize merchandising and space; support store openings, refits, and merchandising tools and concepts.
• Identify new products and services to strengthen the customer offering.
• Ensure compliance with local brand-registration and product-import regulations.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team through objectives, performance monitoring, and feedback.

What you'll need to succeed

• Luxury fragrance experience is highly preferred, followed by luxury experience in other beauty categories.
• Strong commercial negotiation experience with brand partners, distributors, promotional agreements, and marketing campaigns.
• Excellent stakeholder-management skills for external partnerships and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen to assess performance, identify opportunities, and drive sales, margin, and growth.
• Arabic language skills are a plus.
