Fleet Operations
- Manage daily deployment of cars, vans, trucks, buses, or heavy equipment
- Ensure vehicles are available and assigned efficiently
- Optimize vehicle utilization and scheduling
Driver Supervision
- Supervise drivers and transport coordinators
- Monitor attendance, licenses, and performance
- Investigate accidents, violations, and complaints
Maintenance Management
- Schedule preventive maintenance and repairs
- Coordinate with workshops and vendors
- Track vehicle downtime and maintenance costs
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain registration, insurance, permits, and inspection records
- Ensure timely renewals
- Monitor compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Fuel & Cost Control
- Track fuel consumption and identify anomalies
- Monitor tolls, fines, and operating expenses
- Prepare cost and utilization reports
GPS & Reporting
- Use fleet management systems and GPS tracking
- Monitor route efficiency and driver behavior
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports
Safety Management
- Enforce HSE and road safety standards
- Conduct toolbox talks and driver briefings
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (Logistics, Automotive, Mechanical, or related field)
- 3–7+ years of fleet or transport experience
- Supervisory experience managing drivers and vehicles
- Proficiency in Excel and fleet software
- Strong knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and vehicle documentation
- UAE driving license is often preferred
