People, projects, and performance

  • Plan driver staffing and manage rosters, shifts, attendance, leave coverage, performance, and conduct through Fleet Operations Coordinators.
  • Coordinate vehicles and drivers for project mobilization, demobilization, and changes in workforce demand.
  • Prepare monthly reports covering trips, kilometres, fuel, utilization, availability, incidents, and cost per kilometre; implement efficiency and service improvements.
  • Supervise coordinators and drivers, set expectations, address operational issues, and coordinate across shifts and project locations.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of fleet or transport operations experience, including at least 2 years supervising large driver teams; workforce or passenger transport experience is preferred.
  • Experience managing fleet budgets, costs, supplier invoices, and cost-per-kilometre analysis; hands-on GPS, telematics, route-planning, and fleet-system experience.
  • Strong Excel, operational reporting, KPI analysis, vehicle compliance, driver workforce supervision, analytical, problem-solving, supplier-management, and decision-making skills.
  • Fluent Arabic and English; valid driving licence; willing to travel regionally and be available outside normal office hours for escalations.
