Role Description

The Transportation and Accommodation Officer is a logistics employee responsible for managing employee transportation and company vehicles (transportation), as well as overseeing employee accommodation and its facilities (housing) to ensure a safe and comfortable work environment.

Their duties include scheduling vehicles, vehicle maintenance, providing drivers, and monitoring the cleanliness and maintenance of residential buildings and adherence to safety standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Transportation and Accommodation Officer:

Transportation Management

  • Transportation Organization: Providing the necessary vehicles and equipment for transporting employees.
  • Driver Management: Coordinating driver movements and assigning tasks.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Monitoring routine maintenance and vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Licenses and Insurance: Renewing vehicle registrations, driver's licenses, and insurance.
  • Data Recording: Compiling and recording all vehicle movement data and locations.

Housing Management (Employee Accommodation)

  • General Supervision: Managing employee accommodation and monitoring its cleanliness and facilities.
  • Building Maintenance: Monitoring routine maintenance work and reporting any malfunctions.
  • Safety and Security: Ensuring that accommodation complies with occupational health and safety standards.
  • Housing Management: Organizing employee accommodation, vacating the premises, and maintaining employee records.

Qualifications

and Skills

Required

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, and accommodation management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time and work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills for dealing with workers and drivers.
  • Computer skills (MS Officer).
