Permanent, full-time position at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
The role works 42 hours per week.
Shift pattern
- Work two day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, followed by two night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, then four days off.
Role responsibilities
- Patrol the hospital to help ensure a safe and accessible environment for employees, patients, and visitors.
- Patrol high-risk areas for fire hazards and detect, report, and escalate incidents through the Security Duty Manager and Security Control Room.
Candidate requirements
- Evidence of security guarding experience.
- Customer-service-focused approach.
- Respectful, conscientious, flexible, confident, mature, and articulate manner.
- Awareness and sensitivity to specific needs in a healthcare environment.
