Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile customer accounts, vendor accounts, and general ledger balances.
- Process and reconcile receipts received through cheques, bank transfers, credit cards, cash, and direct payments.
- Perform commission, insurance company, and customer credit balance reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing activities.
- Process vendor payments, client refunds, and daily bank deposits.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliation documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve outstanding transactions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reconciliation reports and assist during internal and external audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- **3–5 years of experience**
- in financial reconciliation, accounting, or finance operations.
- Strong understanding of bank reconciliation, GL reconciliation, AR/AP reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
