Draftsman – Power Engineering
to prepare and maintain technical drawings for power generation, transmission, and distribution projects.
The role supports engineering teams by producing accurate drawings, layouts, and schematics in line with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, layouts, and blueprints for power infrastructure projects.
- Update and revise drawings based on design changes and project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop technical drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and project records.
- Review drawings for accuracy and resolve design discrepancies.
- Provide technical support and clarification to project teams and contractors.
- Develop drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
Qualifications & Experience
- Technical Diploma in Drafting, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- **0–4 years**
- of drafting experience in power, electrical, water, or infrastructure projects.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Knowledge of power generation, transmission, distribution systems, and engineering standards.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
