Draftsman – Water Engineering
to support the planning, design, and execution of water infrastructure projects.
The role involves preparing and updating technical drawings, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring all designs comply with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and schematics for water infrastructure projects.
- Update and revise drawings based on engineering changes and project requirements.
- Work closely with engineers and project managers to develop design solutions.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards, specifications, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
- Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies and provide technical support to project teams.
- Prepare drawings using CAD software and continuously improve drafting efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Technical Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- **0–4 years**
- of drafting experience, preferably in water, civil, or infrastructure projects.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of water treatment, distribution systems, and related infrastructure.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
