Role overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements and management reports for the group and its brands.
• Manage daily accounting operations, maintain accurate general ledger entries, and supervise month-end and year-end closing.
• Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial performance; analyze variances and provide insights for strategic and operational decisions.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and banks.
• Develop and improve internal controls and financial policies, and support system enhancements to increase efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and finance foundation and experience managing end-to-end accounting cycles and financial operations.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports for multi-entity or multi-brand organizations.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret financial data, assess performance, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Proficiency in ERP or accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• F&B or hospitality industry experience is required; the application question specifies coffee and restaurants.
• Retail, F&B, or FMCG environment experience is listed as advantageous.

Education and professional qualifications

• A professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent, or a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity; ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced, growing organization.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 18,000 to AED 23,000 per month.

Workplace
