Job Summary
The Financial Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting effective financial decision-making.
The role involves preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting in budgeting and auditing processes within a hospitality or food & beverage environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Record and reconcile general ledger entries on a regular basis.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
- Monitor cash flow and support financial control procedures.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
