About This Role

A Financial Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing statutory financial statements, managing balance sheets, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key duties include month-end closing, bank reconciliations, tax submissions (VAT/PAYE), and auditing. Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, often with a professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
• Experience: Proven experience as a financial accountant or similar role (e.g., St Catharine's College, Cambridge, Amazon Web Services).
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, Pastel) and advanced Excel skills.
