Finance Systems Analyst

Job purpose

Testing processes and documentation

• Assess testing workflows, coverage, compliance, effectiveness, risks, controls, and dependencies; identify gaps and root causes.
• Maintain test scenarios, cases, scripts, workflows, defect reports, and execution records.
• Document As-Is and To-Be testing processes and define inputs, expected outputs, validation criteria, roles, and measures.

Improvement and requirements

• Improve test coverage and efficiency, reduce cycle times, and evaluate the results of implemented improvements.
• Gather business, functional, and technical requirements; translate them into tests and quality validation requirements.
• Assess proposed changes for impact on functionality, test coverage, and business processes; support test planning.

Execution, reporting, and governance

• Analyze test and defect data, prepare reports, track activity against targets, and inform project and release decisions.
• Support new systems, enhancements, releases, regression testing, UAT, operational readiness, and post-release defect follow-up.
• Support QA policies, standards, audits, reviews, compliance assessments, repositories, and testing knowledge management.

Qualifications and competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis & Engineering or any relevant field.
• 4 to 6 years of work experience.
• Competencies include data quality assurance, business processes, business requirements definition, process improvement, system analysis, process automation, and process documentation.
