Finance Manager role in FMCG distribution, based in Doha, Qatar.
The position oversees financial operations and supports fiscal performance for a large FMCG distribution business.
Compensation
- Salary is up to QAR 30,000 monthly.
Work schedule
- Five workdays.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 12+ years of progressive financial accounting and commercial finance experience, with substantial FMCG or distribution sector exposure.
- Hands-on expertise with advanced ERP systems such as Oracle ERP and advanced MS Excel financial modeling.
- Advanced PowerPoint proficiency for executive decks.
- Fully bilingual in Arabic and English for spoken, written, and professional presentation use.
- CPA, CMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification preferred.
Main responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, variance analysis, and long-term financial modeling.
- Manage product costing, promotional spend evaluation, rebate accounting, and channel and brand profitability analysis.
- Monitor credit risk, inventory valuation and holding costs, payables and receivables, and liquidity planning.
- Direct month-end and year-end financial close and IFRS-compliant reporting, including local regulatory requirements.
- Oversee ERP financial modules, automate accounting workflows, and strengthen internal controls.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and Qatar regulatory bodies.
- Prepare executive financial performance presentations for the Group CFO and leadership.
