Location and work arrangement

• The role is based in Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• Work location is in person.

Employment and salary

• Full-time position.
• Salary is AED 7,000–14,000 per month, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own P&L, cashflow, budgeting, and financial reporting; ensure UAE VAT and corporate tax compliance.
• Manage banking, cash, and multi-currency treasury operations; provide financial data and insights for departmental decisions.
• Identify cost-saving and revenue-generation opportunities and prepare investor and financing reports as required.
• Lead, train, and develop the accounts team at supervisor level and below.
• Write, update, and enforce accounting SOPs, promoting accuracy, continuous improvement, and internal controls.

Required qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including at least 3 years managing a team.
• Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Strong command of written and spoken English; leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Currently based in the UAE or able to join on short notice.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Odoo ERP experience is preferred.
• Trading, import, or distribution experience involving multi-currency transactions, landed cost, and FX exposure is highly advantageous.
• Skills include financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, team development, SOPs, cost control, and revenue analysis.
