Role overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee the general ledger and maintain accurate, timely and complete financial records.
• Manage month-end and year-end close, including account reconciliations, journal entries and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Coordinate with other departments on financial operations, including intercompany reconciliations between regions during month-end.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required.
• At least five years of experience in finance operations is required; shared service centre experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles, key finance processes and systems, ERP systems and Microsoft Excel is required.
• ACCA, ACA or similar is nice to have.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and commitment to accuracy are required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is required.
