Finance Manager - Arabic Speaker

Role purpose

Qualifications and requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s/MBA is also listed as preferred.
• CPA or ACCA/FCCA professional certification is mandatory.
• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership, including at least 5 years as a corporate Head of Finance, Finance Manager, or equivalent overseeing multiple subsidiaries.
• Current experience must be in an Engineering Services, Construction, or Contracting organization.
• Arabic speaker, as specified in the role title.

Financial leadership and governance

• Develop a unified finance strategy across subsidiaries and advise the CEO with independent financial judgment.
• Lead financial consolidation, reporting, shared services, central accounting, treasury, and compliance functions.
• Establish finance policies, delegation of authority, controls, governance frameworks, audit readiness, and subsidiary oversight.
• Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, scenario planning, financial KPIs, performance reviews, and capital allocation.

Reporting and commercial finance

• Own consolidated profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, management reporting, dashboards, and close calendars.
• Standardize pricing governance, bid/no-bid frameworks, margin controls, and contract performance oversight.
• Support contract negotiations and investment approvals with due diligence, risk assessment, and sensitivity analysis.
• Drive profitability improvement, cost optimization, investment evaluation, and feasibility processes; provide recommendations to the CEO.

Accounting, treasury, and compliance

• Lead accounting governance, IFRS compliance, audits, statutory compliance, and timely closure of audit findings.
• Oversee treasury, banking strategy, liquidity, cash pooling, funding structures, cash-flow forecasting, and working capital.
• Manage financial risk policies covering foreign exchange, interest rates, credit risk, and counterparty exposure.
• Oversee UAE Corporate Tax and VAT where applicable, transfer pricing, intercompany documentation, and cross-border compliance.
