Finance Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reports.
• Develop and manage the company’s budgeting process and forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and internal policies.
• Lead audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, financial risks, and cost-control strategies.
• Implement financial controls and streamline accounting processes.
• Supervise the finance team, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Support strategic decisions through financial modelling and business cases.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and CPA or CMA certification are required.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience, including at least two years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and financial software, with Zoho and QuickBooks given as examples.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
